Destrubé family - photograph of A company, 22nd Royal Fusiliers
Description:
Item is a photographic post card depicting "A" company of the 22nd Royal Fusiliers. Georges Destrubé has written on the back, "This is a group of the whole Company & there are 6 companies to one Battalion. Paul and I are in the last row, 3 men from the right hand side. Guy is in the 4th row on the extreme right." It is likely that this photo was taken in England before the company deployed for France.
