Album contains photographs taken during the First World War in Victoria and elsewhere in Canada. It is possible that the soldiers depicted are members of the Allen family. Creagh, Harold, and Philip Allen, who resided for a time at "Burdette House," a boarding house in Victoria, located at 951 Burdett Street, signed up with the 62nd Battery CFA. The provenance of the album and its connection to Elsie Allan, a former employee of UVic, is unknown.
