In addition to publishing a newsletter, Rupert Raj’s Metamorphosis also focused on finding new solutions to trans men’s medical needs. This included searching for a practical penile prosthetic device. At the same time, the newsletter was a way for trans men to connect through correspondence and written stories.

The Metamorphosis Newsletter was a smorgasbord of information. In addition to information about television show appearances and news stories, Raj would include questions for the community. Readers would then mail in their answers to be published in the following issue.
