This album features approximately 250 dried and labeled seaweed specimens which were collected by British botanist Edward Morell Holmes, his colleagues, and his wife, Catherine “Kate” Appleford. Collected specimens are mostly from various locations around the United Kingdom, but some are from France and Turkey.
