- Description:
- This half-hour series was broadcast in four runs from 1959 to 1963, except 1962. It started as a twenty-six week examination of different forms of animal life, and added more programs in subsequent years. The series was hosted, written and narrated by Dr. Ian McTaggart Cowan. . Though the ages People are engaged in harvesting the richness of the sea. In this episode, Dr. Cowan talked about the traditional fishing methods in different countries and modern fishing techniques.

- Description:
- A series of documentary kinescopes with filmed inserts introducing dealing with the sea and sea life. Hosted by Ian McTaggart-Cowan. Dr. Cowan used tree of life to explain biological progress of animals: how the life evolved from a single-celled creature to a highly complicated creature. He introduced jelly fish, star fish, flat worm, horseshoe crab and shellfish in the different stages of life evolution.
