- An educational poster with pictures and text focused on histories of farming and drought in the Banda area. It describes how archaeologists learn about farming in the past and what has been learned about the foods which Banda peoples used in a period of severe drought several centuries ago. It is one of five posters prepared for a Banda community event held in 2014. Printed versions of the posters are available in the Banda Cultural Centre, Ahenkro.

- Oral history of Loobia Katoo (house), Ahenkro, describes how a powerful shrine called Jafun came to the Banda area from Senyon, in Gonjaland. The shrine is associated with the sorghum harvest festival and the associated rites are summarized. The list of former keepers of the shrine is included. To cite: Stahl, Ann, and James Anane. 2011. 5. Making pito (sorghum beer), Ahenkro, 2011
- Description:
- Sorghum grains (Sorghum bicolor) have been boiled in water to make pito, a fermented beer. The grain will be sieved away after the liquid ferments. A woman lifts a calabash bowl (chrԑgbͻͻ in Nafaanra) of the fermenting liquid from the aluminum headpan that holds the mixture. Ahenkro, 6 June, 2011.
