Oral history of Nyawaa Katoo (house), Ahenkro, describes the family's origins in Kakala and how the family came to fill the position of Krontihene and be one of the seven founding families of Ahenkro. The story of Queen Mother Chambe Bͻͻfien [Boofien] and her encounter with the Mo hunter Petele and his sister accounts for Nyawaa Katoo's exclusion from succession to the paramount stool.
