- In the foreground, right, work in progress at the Bui Dam site by Sinohydro, a state-owned Chinese hydropower and engineering company. Grating of the mountain slope is underway. Beyond that (right center) buildings associated with the Chinese operational site are visible. The braided channel of the Black Volta River downstream from the dam site is center frame.
