Description:: This photograph was taken during the visit of the Valero III by the Alan Hancock Pacific Expedition, possibly in 1935. The vegetation in the image suggests that it was taken in the lowlands; however, it is interesting to see the condition of the road leading to the hacienda during the 1930s.
