- Discarded gun cartridge shells clearly date the midden associations. They include a “Nitro Club”12-gauge shot shell (1891-1911), a Winchester 30-30 cartridge (>1895), and a Peters 12-gauge shot shell made after 1887.

- Various personal care products were recovered in the midden, including two examples of “Murray and Lanman’s Florida Water” bottles,a pot lid matching a “Cherry Toothpaste/Crown Perfumery” lid from London, and two tooth brushes made in France. This specimen may have been part of a comb manufactured of bone.

- Description:
- Buttons, including 15 bone, 12 mother of pearl, and 13 white Prosser china buttons were recovered in the midden and house excavations. All of the white ceramic buttons were made with the Prosser process, patented in 1840. White china buttons were exported all over the world from the 1840s onwards by England, France, the United States, and Germany.

- Description:
- Condiment bottles in a variety of types, and none with labels were common. One kind consists of tall, thin colorless bottles with very skinny necks. Although unmarked, these shapes are typical of “salad oil” or “olive oil" bottles. Published marked examples originated in France during the late nineteenth century, with this bottle shape given in contemporary catalogues as a “Bordeaux Oil” shape.

- Description:
- The artifact-rich lense of the Carpintero midden can be seen as its surface is exposed during excavation in 2014. Filled with discarded animal bones, glass bottles, and ceramics, artifact deposition was so dense, that recovered materials often exceeded the amount of associated soil by volume.

- Description:
- Recovered specimens of alcohol bottles dominated the artifacts in the assemblage. The most common general category of bottles from the hacienda excavations were for wine, beer, or liquor, and in a range of colors in greens, ambers, and black. The vast majority were made in turn-paste moulds.
