The second condemnation of Lou Chee Quai and Lum Lup Wing.
_________________________________________________
After becoming president and vice-president by their private election, Lou Chee Quai and Lum Lup Wing, two unlawful men, abused the name of Chung Wah Hui Kwan to send a telegram to Pekin, petitioning to dissolve parliament, and published a letter "Tai Hon Po" a newspaper in Vancouver, to advocate their insistence. These conspirators' crimes were very evident. Yesterday Mr. But Ping already wrote an article to condemn their ten crimes, and mentioned that their crimes were more than ten. His conclusion is as follows: "If you do not willing receive the name of discontracting the Republic, you must not recognize this telegram; then you must arise to call to account the senders to withdraw this telegram." This is the most proper treatment.
But Mr. But Ping' s article only expressed their crimes of abusing the name of Ching Wah Hui Kwan and despising the Republic. I to-day deal with their letter, and should condemn their crimes of entrapping their colleagues and publishing in the newspaper to advocate their unlawful insistence.
A parliament is a most sacred and important orgen in the country; even the so-called thirteen provinces league could in vain bring it down. Fong Xoh Chong and Loi Kong Mon (both are governors) and others had pronounced that they never take in the so-called thirteen provinces association. It goes without saying that Mr. Tong Shu Yee and Mr. Choy Ngog and four hundred millions of people are all protectors of the parliament. Even such a valueless newspaper as the "Tai Hon Po" only recorded their telegram and letter, and did not advocate such unlawful insistence for them. To tell the truth, Lou and Lum are two most wicked men who shall not be forgiven by God. Now I will record their letter, which was recorded in Tai Hon Po and criticize it.
"Sir,
Owing to the Pekin Parliament having abolished Confucionism, the public opinion was very resentful. Here Cung Wah Hui Kwan has held a meeting and the members approved to send a telegram to oppose it.
The contents of the message are as follows: .............................
Please record this in your paper and advocate our purpose. Because this event will give a great influence to our native country, you will be glad to help us, I am sure."
